Obviously it does work fine. I was just hoping to use the testing classes to 
understand ECS. If they are not being maintained, I will give up on that approach, but 
I would hope that the CVS archive could be updated to exclude them in that case, or 
document that they show what the APIs looked like once upon a time - and that it would 
be nice if someone would update them...
