Please forgive my lack of sophistication. To be honest, it's been a long
time since I worked directly with a version control systems (I've been in
management to long), and I've only worked under UNIX on occasion, so I need
a quick description of what you mean by patch. Do I simply work on the
released source pool and send the whole thing back with changes, letting CVS
sort out what's been modified when you check it in? This would be required
for the Color changes. I can certainly put a set of filters together with
the Match interface and send that as a separate set of classes, since
there's no overlap. Is a ZIP file with the proper package names what you
need (emailed directly to you)?

Send me a patch and I'll get it merged into the tree.
