Dream My Dream It is a glorious, summer day and I am
leading a group of about 6 men and women up the side
of a heavily timbered, pristeen montain. It is rough
going and every so often I sense a place of power, a
sacred place to ancient people. We pause and pray at
each such site and then resume our struggle up the
mountain. We reach our goal, the summit which is a
large, beautiful plateau, an we are about to have a
picinic when in the distance I spy a large group of
strangers running toward us and they are enemies
armed with sticks and spears ad rocks. Ican feel
their anger and evil intent to kill us. I rally my
group & we prepare to defend ourselves. We are set
upon by the group of insanely angry people. Then we
engage in hand-to-hand combat. After a while the
ground is littered with the bodies of the attackers.
We have won. We have defended and protected
ourselves alothough we don't know why we were
attacked. At the end of the battle, suddenly all the
bodies rise up, alive again, and everyone, my group
and the other one, shake hands and embrace. Then we
all go off arm in arm to have a few beers and talk at
a tavern I can see in the distance. End of dream.
Comments by Dreamer Comment on Dreams : during the
dream I'm at first filled with
the sense of awe and thrills
as we encounter the sacred
places on the mountain.
 Everyone is happy and feeling
a sense of tremendous
accomplishment when we reach
the summit. We are appauled
and afraid when we see that we
will have to fight another
group of people who are bent
on our destruction and we do
not know why. We feel
exultant when we win the
battle and then we all
experience a deep and vivid
sense of forgiveness and love
when the defeated group is
ressurected and we all go off
to party together. I have
long wondered at the
significance of this very
vivid dream that I still
recall so well. It was a
happy dream and filled me with
joy and thankfullness when I
awoke. I've not shared the
dream with anyone but my wife
and she's not consumed with
the urge to find the meaning
that I am. It was a wonderful
dream and I'm convinced it has
a spiritual message that I'm
not getting. Rob
