Frank,
This is not a SPLC code. It is a code that is managed by the AAR (American
Association of Railroads) The code relates to their system.
I hope this helps.

Subject: Element 0573
I'm trying to figure out what element 0573, used in the F9 of a 404,
stands
for. Is it a city name or a specialized code standing for a Rail
station (a
SPLC for rail stations of sorts)?
