Subject: Re: EDI-INT solutions Mark, We are not using TLE but EDI Open. About a year ago we finally switched from the modem mess to a frame relay with GEIS. We use FTP and connect to the VAN every hour. The difference in connect time for the transmission is unbelievable. It is more reliable and stable than the modems ever were as well. We also receive flat files from one trading partners off their FTP server with the appropriate login and passwords in place. This data is pulled directly into the translator. We are not using the Internet yet but hope to in the future. I will be interested to see how you do with this since it is also in our future plans.
