I am�migrating�our EDI translator from Trinary on a VAX to Gentran NT.� It
appears Gentran NT expects all X12 elements to be delimited by�an * asterisk
and the segments to be delimited by the ~ tilde character before translating
the data.� Gentran NT comes with a utility XPROCESS which will reformat the
X12 data but with the variety of delimiters used by our trading partners I
would need to run XPROCESS several times against the received data.� I am
interested in how other Gentran users accomplished this and if�reformatting
the data is really necessary.

In addition, does anyone have a working logon script for the Harbinger
Network or information on the sequence of commands for uploading/downloading
files?� I tried talking to several customer support people at Harbinger and
they didn't seem to understand what I was requesting.
