I am an EDI Project Manager consulting in Atlanta. My client is migrating from an
AS400 environment to a Unix environment. They have approx 50 maps that have been
created, but need to be evaluated and fixed as required, and as quickly as possible.
This is on-site work only.

The skills required are:

Skilled in any of these mapping tools:

- GENTRAN:Server Unix 5.x
- GENTRAN:Server Workstation (not the NT product)
- Mentor 1.x
- ANSI X12 standards, including UCS and VICS

And...

- Familiar and Comfortable working in Unix

The abilities required are:
- Work independently
- Analyze and provide feed back to customer requirments
- Multi-task - work on a variety of maps in various stages
- Analyze current maps and make changes as required

It would be nice if the candidate has any of the following skills:
- GENTRAN:Server ECWorkBench
- PeopleSoft's EDI Manager

The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and modifying existing maps, making
recommendations on map changes to improve functionality, and working with internal
business users and trading partners to resolve mapping issues. The candidate will be
agressive, results oriented, with a strong 'can-do' attitude (that will be tested from
day one!) The candidate will report to one person, but take requirements from several
people, as well as directing the activities of 1 to 2 others. And, if this isn't
interesting enough, the scheduled contract length is 2-3 WEEKS. We will work full 5
day weeks, over 8 hours a day.

If you would like to be considered for this position, please send me a paragraph or
two with your qualifications. I will email you if I need to present your resume to
the client.

This position needs to be filed ASAP, and will be closed no later than March 10, 2000.

Thanks for your time.

Chuck Bayes
