105 year old mid size footwear manufacturer and importer,
based in NE New Jersey, is seeking an RPG Programmer/Analyst with EDI mapping
skills to join a small IT Department. The candidate should have a minimum of 3
years of RPG programming experience and 2 years of EDI mapping experience
(preferably with Harbinger). EDI responsibilities will include maintaining
existing mappings as well as creating/testing mappings for any new relationships
as they arise. Programming responsibilities will include modifying existing
programs, reports and inquiries as well as creating new programs , reports and
inquiries. The applications range from Finance thru Distribution to
Manufacturing. The candidate must have strong interpersonal and
organizational skills and be able to work directly with the user
community to determine needs and translate those needs into development
requirements.
