Ricardo,
If you are interested in container handling then you may find the following useful ....
Go to http://www.tradegate.org.au/itiggrego.htm and register (it's free)
then go to the 'Miscellaneous Documents' and download 103v13exe.zip
When you uncompress it, you get an 'Envoy runtime' executable. When you run that, you
get a 14 page document to outline 'the use and interrelationship between the various
UN/EDIFACT container handling messages'. I found it a very useful introduction.
If you are not familiar with the UN/EDIFACT messages mentioned in the above document,
you should be able to download them from the UN website at :
http://www.unece.org/trade/untdid/welcome.htm
Hope this is useful to you.
Kind Regards,
Ian Williams

Subject: EDI in Ports
Dear friends,
I'm working in the development of a "model" to implement EDI in peruvian ports. This
model will allow improvements on their process with their trading partners (local
partners such as customhouse, customhouse booker, marine agents supliers, and foreign
partners such as other ports).
If someone participated in the implementation of a similar proyect, I would really
apreciate all the comments about the electronic documents you interchange and between
who (sender & receiver). Besides, if someone knows where I could find information
related to this topics, I'll be anxious and pleased to have it.
Thank you very much,
Best regards,
Ricardo Vega
