I'm firmly in Michael Mattias's ship on this as well. Communications is
communications. Translation is translation. There is very little common
ground between those two domains. Even Harbinger has actually two separate
products to accomplish these tasks.

The third piece is the one most difficult to find and that is flow control.
Some system needs to understand the paths documents follow and the processes
it goes through to get there. Some call this workflow, but it's really a bit
more than that. Most of the good ones are extremely expensive and are
targeted to huge, multinational corporations. Anyone who knows of a
non-integrated package that doesn't cost a bazillion dollars and runs on a
relational database please let me know.
