Dawn,

Our EDI translator software can include a test account on the production
system at no additional charge. This ensures that the same programs used to
process the test data are also used to process the live data.

This is safer than processing your test data on one system and your
production data on another, unless you replace the software on the backup
system with your production software every time any change is made to your
production software.

I am not aware of any reduction in license fee offered by Microsoft for a
"backup" copy of NT or W2K (for example).

On the other hand, our database vendor offers a backup copy of the database,
for use on a backup system, for 15% (85% discount) of the normal database
license fee. We also offer a backup copy of our EDI translator, for use on
a backup system, for 15% (85% discount) of the normal license fee.

Hope this helps,

Dave Taylor
