Silly question, why not have one of your venders ABC Trucking or Verizon or what ever, send you test data directly? Just a thought.

Subject: 811 Transaction setGood morning everyone,
I have a similar request as Ian. We are looking for some "real" test data
for the 811 transaction set, specifically from US West, GTE/Verizon, Sprint
long distance and MCI long distance in the 004010 version. Does anyone have
any EDI files that they would be willing to forward to us? They would only
be used internally for testing the structure of our maps and would not be
forwarded to anyone else.Any help you can offer is much appreciated.

Title: RE: 204/214 811 Transaction set
Robyn,
The
major telecos you are dealing with in general do not like to give out test
data. With the deregulation of the teleco industry in 1996, local telecos
(ILEC's) could
sell long distance services if they proved to the FCC they
were allowing local competition, i.e they had to sell some of their local
services to competitors. For various
reasons this has not been smooth sailing which is why you are
having trouble getting test data. My best advice is to look on the web
sites of these trading partners,
some of them do post test data. Good
luck.
