It's been a while and I used TLE 4.xx not TLE5, but if it isn't all that
different, the attached example should work. You need to place the unix
shell script in one of 3 places either $EDIH/bin or $EDIH/xlate/bin or
$EDIH/etc. Be careful how you name store fields since things like dashes
can cause problems when they are being defined as unix environment
variables.

Subject: TLE5.0 user exit on UNIX

Has anyone used the user exit part of TLE5? I find their help desk
doesn't
know how to use it. What I need to know is how the data is passed, what
format, and how it's returned. Also it looks like TLE5 looks to find my
program in a library. I wanted to just use a UNIX script.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
