Everything, the fact the quantities are firm, the TP ID is the same for
the two lines. The only thing that might be different (and may not be
different) is the quantity.
Does anyone deal with multi firms on an DELFOR for the same ship date?
How do you handle this?

I think your question points at the answer. Your key should include
"firm"
(trading partner ID?) in the key. This would make the key unique.
If your logic if flawed, where you combine the feeds doesn't matter. If
you
key doesn't have uniqueness, the database can't take the data.
