One ugly way to force the issue would be to create your own envelope by
copying the EDIFACT2 and then add the command directly to the file.
Have you tried setting this store field in your map? I believe the
translation of the transaction occurs prior to actual enveloping so the
envelope map can pick up store field values from the map itself.

Hi Mike
I tried the EDIFACT2 envelope and kept getting errors. When I looked at the
.CNT
file I discovered it is formatted as an inbound command file.
Outbound is App Record #, App Field #, Command Code, Seg Order #, Seg Name,
Seg
Field #, Seg SubField #, Data Field 1, Data Field 2.
Inbound format is Seg Order #, Seg Name, Seg Field #, Seg SubField#, Command
Code,
App Rec #, App Field #, Data Field 1, Data Field 2.
Both EDIFACT2 and EDIFACT3 are formatted as Inbound. We don't use Inbound
Envelopes so I don't understand that. BUT, there was EDIFOUTD and EDIFOUTT
that
also have the Reverse Route mapping. I used those and got the same result as
EDIFACTO envelope where UNB02:03 is not in the output file.
It is produced by the If Command from what I can tell from the *.CNT file -
If
Exist rr_send then Move to UNB02:03? What I believe I am missing is what
causes
the translator to create the rr_send store field. I'm pretty sure it would
be a
set-up in the Interchange Screen. But, no documentation I have from
Harbinger/Peregrine tells me how to set up the Interchange for EDIFACT.
Nothing
searching on their website either. Why does this NOT surprise me? Glad we
shall
be switching soon.......
