I am refering to TLE on UNIX. I appologize for the vague answer. I set
this up for a client 3 years ago and my memory isn't what it should be. I
don't have my TLE documentation or access to op center right now. I will
follow up tomorrow with the exact table set up.

I was thinking it was the set up where you associate the internal message
type to the external message type but it might actually have been the table
that associates internal to external IDs. You create an entry where id
12345 is associated with external partner ABC and then add a second entry
where the same internal id 12345 is asscoicated with external partner DEF.
You set up events for both and both events get processed.

Again, I know it can be done. Once I can review the op center configuration
I will post the exact configuration.

Tim,
I'm curious about this feature, but don't know what you are
referring to when
you say "document type mapping" or "document mapping table". We are
talking
the UNIX/NT Versions of TLE right?

Thanks,
-Steve

I don't have Harbinger Documentation in front of me, so I am answering from
memory.

When you are setting up the op center for an outbound event, there is a
table which has only two entries, I think it is document type mapping. You
can put two entires in this table so that one document maps to two output
documents. You set up two complete events and the translator will
automatically run both maps. Since the outbound translator is a two pass
process, 1) mapping 2) enveloping, multiple document outputs are sorted and
grouped into separate envelopes if necessary.

The one thing to look out for is maintaining the document mapping table. If
you remove either of the entries, it removes both.
