We're looking into upgrading to TLE 5 Unix probably within the next couple of months. Can't locate an archive for this newsgroup, so here goes some questions that you guys may have already covered. Your help in answering these general questions (6) are appreciated. Is it essential that we hire a Harbinger consultant or is the installation pretty much "cut and dry"? How long did the installation take? Can it be accomplished over a weekend? Has anyone done the upgrade with only a production server or have you found that having a test server is essential to having success with this upgrade? Did the upgrade have any negative effect on your current EDI maps or the trading partner information set up within the Ops Center? Does anyone have any emails from the past concerning TLE 5 for Unix that they wouldn't mind forwarding to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED]? Any other newsgroups that you guys know about that have covered this subject and perhaps does have an archive section?
