Thank you very much to everyone who responded to my request for help with
this problem.

I am somewhat embarrassed to say that the problem was one of those simple
thinks that are so easy to overlook!  It seems that no one bothered to tell
me that the phone system where our AS/400 is located requires a
authorization code to be entered after dialing the long distance number.  I
didn't think of this since all of the other numbers I've set up have been
toll-free, so no code is required.

I guess Wal-Mart can't afford to pick up the tab for all of those phone
charges!!  :-)

Anyway, this is my first experience with this list and it has been very
positive, so keep up the good work.  Hopefully, I will be able to return
the help and kindness some day.
