i am starting on the 816 document. needless to say walmart does not explain
anything upfront on any communications. from the people i have talked to at
walmart, it sounds as though this will replace previous methods of store
address maintenance (new/delete/change). we are on their DSDC program and
currently receive store address maintenace via the 850 transaction. i
suspect that the 816 will replace this functionality but not definitely
sure. walmart told me that i would need to pull the 816 daily. the
documentation mentions a daily update and a weekly re-synch. i had one
person tell me it would just be a full address list only (this now becomes
confusing because it does not match documentation)

i am almost ready to test. if you have done any, what type of test data are
you getting

Our company is going to start the testing for the 816 vs. 4030. Has anyone
done this yet?

How does the 816 interact with other documents? Walmart refers to REQUEST
CARDS for pulling data through EDI. I am not sure what this means.

Can anyone help.
