Just a couple of things I find humorous this fine California day...

heh heh heh... Is that an answer from a software guy or what??? And, uh, no,
writing translators to translate test data is a piece of cake.

Right-on. They can certainly interface with a VAN or ASP for in-network or
application-service-provided translation. Artios (nsp*://www.artios.com) is one
I know of that accepts many disparate input formats and vehicles. Async or ftp
someone a flat file, and let them manage the message lifecycle outside of your
application. Much better use of a coder than writing some new better way to
translate EDI perhaps.

Click the mouse. Play with buttons. The pictures are great. I haven't heard
of too many ERPs, PRPs, or CRMs on the Mac either. They, like the mainframe,
have their place and they do their functions well...but a translator? chuckle.
