Armer & Haines Advisory Group specializes in EDI (Electronic Data
Interchange) consulting and programming services. We currently have a need for
an experienced EDI Sales Representative.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sell consulting and programming services to companies from various
industries throughout the US.
- Develop new partnerships with consulting firms, software developers
(ERP), resellers, etc.
- You will be responsible for lead generation and closing the
transaction/sale.
- Maintain appropriate prospect information by utilizing contact
management software provided.
- Your location will be a virtual office or your home location.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7-10+ years of selling experience preferable in the IT industry.
- Minimum of 2+ years of EDI software or solution selling.
- Must have strong understanding of EDI and Web applications, functional
requirements, mapping and translator tools, gateways, cost savings/benefits,
etc.
- Must have strong relationships with consulting firms, software
developers/channel partners, etc.
- Sales negotiation and closing skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, is self-motivated, is
a high-energy player and possess strong presentation and computer
skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
