Forgive me if I misunderstood your question - you asked about the advantages and
disadvantages of the Semantic Web as compared with BSI.  I assumed that you were
concerned about implementation and adoption as well as strictly technical
differences.  "Popularity", as in being liked), is to me a somewhat different
thing than market awareness and mindshare.  I'm sure you'll agree with me that
the latter are very important, because without critical mass in the market place
you might find yourself the only one implementing a technology.  That may be
acceptable for an application used internally, but would be disastrous if you
wanted to used the technology to work with other organizations.

BTW - Thanks for the info that you haven't heard of me except on this list.  I
guess I'll have to redirect some of my huge marketing budget to get better
coverage in your direction ;^)
