We switch from HP/Unix 10.0, Oracle DB 7.3.4, TLE 4.1 to HP/Unix 11.0, Oracle DB 8.1.5, TLE eV5, on April 1, 2001. During the first two weeks of April, we ran into MAJOR problems with both inbound and outbound translations which adversely affected our Order Entry and Transportation systems. To date, we still have several OPEN tickets with Peregrin regarding the problems we encountered. Note, that our business did NOT change and that the problems were NOT present in TLE 4.1.1. In fairness to Peregrin, they have assigned TOP people to work with us on the outstanding problems and diligently follow up on the open tickets. The best recommendation I can make to you is to parallel your current production environment, with TLE eV5, for at least 2 weeks. Had we done a full parallel test for 2 weeks, we would NOT have gone live with TLE eV5 when we did. > -----Original Message----- > From: Test, Brian [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Wednesday, May 23, 2001 10:49 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Jumping into the TLE E5 pool...How's the water?
