I have one year of experience and I was looking to get more within my industry. This EDI mailing list is one way that I am building my knowledge on the areas of EDI that I do not know about. Thanks to all of those that reply with their experiences. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good classes that are out there besides the ones that the EDI translator company offers. Those classes seem to be geared toward teaching you how their software works and EDI as an overall process (usually they use the PO 850) but I would prefer something more geared towards my industry. I specifically work with Mercator mapping software/TPPC and Telecommunications 811 Transaction sets. Any feedback on this would be great. And if anyone has worked on the 811, and has anything to share about it, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance and have a great day!
