"Bradley A. Linboom" asked how to get back into doing EDI work.
My original route into it (lo these many years ago) was through working
for a vendor who moved me into their EDI practice due to my general
knowledge in other IT areas. You might find better luck with a
translator vendor or an EDI consulting firm than trying directly to work
with a company. Such firms will often take someone with about 60% to
75% of the skills that they need, and train them in the rest.
