Two points: 1. If it's part of the package how can they charge extra for it?
I'm thinking of invoicing for services:
2. I don't believe it is of no value to them. Which way is the EDI
flowing? If it's from them to you, they are saving on handling, paper,
postage, etc. over dealing with the data the old fashioned way. If it flows
from you to them, what are they doing, converting back to paper and
processing by hand?!? If they can receive EDI surely it's integrated with
their systems.
In my experience EDI benefits both parties, once the initial setup cost is
overcome.
