Title: Need info on Translator
Lou,
VAN's have kinds of varying pricing structures.  Before you negioate with the VAN's you should determine your
data volume (in and out), consult with your trading partners who they are using, and since you are in an outlying
area if there is a local calling number if you are doing a dialup.  You might also look into Internet alternatives.
Good luck.

Subject: Fee structure question

Hi ALL,

We are an XML shop, but getting pulled into the EDI arena also. I have a question: what is the standard fee structure for EDI VANs?

Do they charge per document or flat rate? What are typical rates?

I appreciate any input.

Thanks,

Lou
