I believe that it was said that marshals would be on some flights but which
ones were unknown.  Today that would be nice but who is going to hire,
manage, and schedule the 50,000+ people needed for a marshal on each flight?
There are a lot of flights from a lot of American airports each day.  I can
only imagine the logistics it would take to accomplish a marshal on each
flight.  And then there are the jumbo jets; is one marshal enough to cover
the entire jet?

Our knee-jerk reactions need to be temper with thought.  Travel as we know
it will change, what that change will be is hard to say.

on every flight.  Another change we can afford.
