This is a message from the EDI-L owner at UCOP, the current site. There seems to be some confusion, so just let me say that I'm limiting my involvement to the orderly shutdown of the old list. Other than making the list of current subscribers available (except those that have set themselves to CONCEAL to hide their subscription to the list), I'm not taking any active role in setting up or transitioning to a new list anywhere. I have no opinion about the proper replacement site. I'll extend the deadline for the shutdown of the current list for a bit while things seem to be in flux. I'd appreciate limiting new threads of EDI discussion, however, since I can't guarantee that they'll be allowed to come to a conclusion. Last, I appreciate the comments of those who've mentioned the value of EDI-L. My role has been minimal over the years; the importance of EDI-L has been measured in the contributions of the subscribers.
