Tom, Excellent question. I can only verify that the 868 is included in the standards as shipped by Sybase, and therefore would be used primarily to map to a proprietary format. ECMap relies on SEF import to handle specific implementations. In the several years I worked for PaperFree/NEON/Sybase I never had cause to use the 868 and as I am no longer with the company I have no way really to test this capability. Maybe someone from Sybase can chime in here?

I'm sure any EDI package can translate an 868 to a flat file or XML doc or SQL database or whatever. But, the 868 is used to transmit EDI standards. The question is, can ECMap use the 868 to import EDI specs that can then be used to create a map? ------------------------ Yahoo!
