We've seen that most people demanding XML in the EDI world are smaller
businesses, those who can't afford a fully fledged EDI translator, and also
they usually have one (if that) technical guy wearing every IT hat in the
business. This individual is usually the one demanding XML, or at least
preferring to use XML since it has a lot of online support out there. In
these cases, EDI is really only used as the last thing out the door (and
first thing in the door). These companies only use EDI to sell through the
big boys. Creating XML from their data is easy, creating EDI isn't quite so.

We've also found that the trick isn't transforming the EDI document into
your custom XML document, rather the trick is simply to get the EDI document
into XML. XML already has a very powerful transformation language known as
XML Stylesheets. So, using the simplest, effecient, and most affordable
means to translate the document into XML is what the real demand is. XSLT is
simple and powerful enough to do the harder task of transforming the
document.

to XML Translator. Quick, simple, and affordable ($79.95 USD)</SALES>
