I have yet to work with a translator that worked according to the standards in all situations. This seems to be particularly true with the creation and recognition of FAs. It could be that what ever James Cash and Company is using simply fails to process a perfectly legitimate albeit unusually constructed interchange. Or, based on Art's #1 rule of debugging, maybe their problem isn't the structure of your message at all, and their analyst is misdiagnosing a warning message. We may never know.
Good luck. Now, let's all three go do something else. I'm going to see what they say. The multiple ST/SE groups are redundant, but _shouldn't_ cause a problem. It's easy enough to change, but it's strange that they have only complained about one client. We have it running at dozens of other clients without a problem. It's possible that they have changed something at their end or are sending many more 860s for their 850s. thanks Earl Wertheimer [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.spe-edi.com .
