A correspondent of mine - who shall remain nameless - makes a cogent observation about EDI-L:
"Quite frankly I lost interest in EDI-L quite some time ago [when it] became the unofficial help desk for Gentran, and at times other translator products and ceased to be a forum for discussion on broader EDI topics. Either customer support departments at these product companies is abysmal, or, the basic knowledge of knowing how to contact them no longer exists amongst those who consider themselves professionals. I also think outsourcing to companies who have no relationships with these product vendors, and therefore have no access to "paid" support is an increasing problem." William J. SQL Server only stored the data file name, then ran a display of that data file as the details in either the document level or interchange level. The X12 data itself is not stored in the SQL tables. Hope this helps! But I am unable to trace the folder from which the details are displayed in the Interchanges. Pls could anyone help me to trace the folder from which the data is fetched to display in Interchanges and also in Indrawer, outdrawer. Kindly reply if know, at the earliest as I am doing some details consolidation. Thanks & Regards, Bindu .
