Gentran is an EDI translator. This is an EDI group. Looks like a match to me. There are certainly plenty of other groups more focused on Gentran, such as the edi_gns yahoo group. Also, www.sterlingcommerce.com <http://www.sterlingcommerce.com/> has its own forums, chat rooms, online documentation and a pretty good knowledgebase.
Perhaps the support issue is not so much for Gentran, but that people have not been adequately trained in how to set up filtering in their email clients to they can skip questions on topics not of interest to them.
