Points well taken, Todd. Forgive me for not expressing myself as well as I intended. I think the real question here is the impact RFID may have beyond what standardized bar codes already supply. But, as I said and others have pointed out, the impact on EDI itself may range from trivial to significant, depending on the implementation. For certain, the impacts on the broader business processes could be significant. There has been at least one interesting post that addressed the impacts of RFID beyond bar codes, but I would be interested if others have informed opinions.
