Brian, there you go again! Stop looking at off-shoring from a
techno-geek's point of view. Start thinking like a businesswoman.
Consider the incredible savings that accrue to the bottom-line and
executive bonuses.

Starting with no need for inconvenient and expensive software licenses.
That's something you can't do here in the USA, for sure, else you'd get
in big trouble. And there's no need for outrageously expensive annual
service contracts. Sure, it's inconvenient not to have a support number
to call at Sterling. But, on the other hand, folks will always jump all
over each other to be the first to answer questions on EDI-L on how to
use the thing.

And the cost of labor! That's often the biggest hit on the bottom line.
Sure, the salary you pay any employee is tax-deductible. But you still
end up having to pay more for an American simply because she needs to
pay for 2 retirees on Social Security and a huge military machine. That
alone probably accounts for 50% of the labor savings when off-shoring!

Start thinking globally, pal.
