I don't doubt that those efforts are happening, but they do not reach us in the J&J Consumer franchise. We are still working towards common ground on e-business and e-commerce, and there have been summits in the past, but the sad fact is that absent a major determined effort, benchmarks in the pharma group or the medical devices group rarely make it over to Consumer. There's a good reason for that, too; since we are one of the few non-validated (non-Part 11) industries, we don't have to undergo the stringent controls that they do. Not to say we don't have stringent controls of our own, but they're on a different level altogether. > Are these the XML messages/efforts you're referencing below. OTH, perhaps J&J has directly engaged with these > organizations due to it global marketplace. As I said, Consumer doesn't have a lot of visibility to what is going on at MD&D, HCS or PSGA. I am trying to work with my Director to get another summit going, because we had a very productive time when we were able to all meet the last time. But for the nonce, we are small islands of widely disparate EDI expertise all sharing the J&J logo. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] .
