I'm holding out hope that they can either fix the problem or get rescued by some ex-employees that have the larger vision. There is a lot of competition in the edi space, but there are few translators that can handle SWIFT.
While Mercator was pricey, it was cheaper in many installations than Sterling. The beautiful thing is that the maps are always developed locally and tested, then deployed to the run platform. Sterling has a different mapper for each hardware class. Gentran Mainframe and Gentran Unix look as different as apples and oranges. I wonder - if i did some maps for an Emanio user, could he run them and not violate his licensing? That might open up a whole new cottage industry. Especially if your cottage is Trump Towers. --- "William J. Kammerer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > That's a darn shame. I got the impression from you > that Mercator was > the best thing out there.
