William,

I am sorry, when I registered for the EDI-L list, did I miss your rules? On
Yahoo it shows the EDI-L list is "A discussion list for EDI (Electronic Data
Interchange) and related business to business data interchange."

I was the one who asked the question regarding the SAP transaction set. I
don't have time everyday to make phone calls or log a case on-line for
technical support versus posting a simple message on EDI-L and receiving a
reply from people who are HELPFUL! If you want a group that discusses
OPEN-standards then I suggest you start one, but don't waste my time or fill
up my e-mail inbox with your useless messages.

I find it hard to believe you are actually are a president of an EDI
business. I would never support and or recommend a trading partner to use
your services solely based on your comments to messages on EDI-L.

Regards,
Jeff

Am I good, or what? And only *minutes* after I asked "Is this stuff
really that expensive? AND IF YOU WANTED TECHNICAL SUPPORT, WOULD YOU
HAVE TO PAY EVEN MORE?"

Please folks, this is not an appropriate forum for solving problems
you're having with particular packages like Sterling's GIS or
GENTRAN:Server NT, and especially SAP 4.6C. Let's keep EDI-L freed up
for discussion about OPEN standards-based interoperable *inter-company*
messaging, e-standards gossip, and the like. Sales pitches, product
comparisons and whining about vendors' pricing, features and viability
are welcome and appreciated. BUT IT'S UP TO THE VENDORS THEMSELVES TO
PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THEIR OWN PRODUCTS.

What is the SAP transaction set that supports an inbound EDI 820
payment/remittance advice?

Thank you,
