I think it is.

The level of difficulty in troubleshooting these products is
astounding.  Any bit of information leading or directing someone how 
triumph over tribulation in the EDI world and/or its products thereof
is exactly what this list is about...as well as opining about the 
gobbledygook of haloed regurgitated data transport mechanisms (XML).

Any tidbit of help directing someone to a solution with software
products inside or outside of tech support is a boon.  Tech support
does not push the envelope with products - we do.  Therefore we should
know more about implementation than they do and tech support just
passes that info along.

I am in the trenches with Microsoft BizTalk everyday.  You don't know
how many times a copy and paste has been done from an event viewer
error to Google and led to the smallest of clues to help me solve a
problem.

I've been there, and I've done that.  That is exactly one purpose of
this list.

Let's also tone down the ad hominem.
