Michael, I found this in Sterling's knowledgebase. Hope it helps
Here is the solution: How to Map ISA, GS, ST envelope information in an Export Map. The Gentran Server For Windows NT Installation CDs provided special pass thru break maps for both ANSI X12 and EDIFACT data. These maps can be found in the support\maps\special\source directory. Registration of the special break maps/translation objects will impact ALL inbound maps for that Standard because it is a global change. All inbound maps used for that Standard Agency will have to contain the envelope segments even if they are not mapping the data contained in them. To get the Envelope segments into your inbound maps, copy maps have been provided on the Installation CD. These maps are located in the support\maps\special\copymaps directory. For ANSI X12 data the pass-through maps are: ISAbrk2.tpl GSbrk2.tpl STbrk2.tpl BRK997_2.tpl For EDIFACT data the pass-through maps are: UNBbrk2.tpl UNHbrk2.tpl UNGbrk2.tpl CTLbrk2.tpl Here is the problem or goal: How to Map ISA, GS, ST envelope information in an Export Map. -----Original Message----- From: Michael Josiah [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 21, 2005 5:27 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [EDI-L] <TECH> Gentran Integrator (NT) Mapping Question Greetings: Quick question for the group.
