Position description as follows, is: Summary: Currently seeking an Implementation Consultant to take part in the ongoing growth of a data sync/transformation company in the Northeast. The candidate's primary role will be to implement & train end users on Data Synchronization / EDI / XML integration solutions. A high level of direct interaction with project leads and end users will be necessary to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Implement and train end users on EDI / XML solutions - Assist PM with pre-engagement diligence for customer implementations in order to maintain integrity of project scope - Assist in architecting comprehensive integrated solutions for customers / prospects using associated Products & Services - Ensure that all customer implementations are completed on time, within scope, and as budgeted - Interact with Sales and Pre-Sales where necessary to confirm & validate services estimates - Identify & communicate new Sales and Services opportunities within existing customer base - Act as mentor to other Consultants on team to assist in skill building process Requirements: - Minimum three years experience in EDI / XML integration implementations - Thorough understanding of related products and a strong understanding of ANSI/EDIFACT EDI and XML-based data structures, mapping, Async / Bisync / FTPS / AS1 / AS2 connectivity, and application integration - Proven ability to quickly learn new applications and procedures essential. Industry experience with Sterling, Mercator, Inovis, TIE/SPS, or Softshare applications a must. - Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle / SQL Server) and understanding of their application as it relates to EDI / XML products - Knowledge of programming languages and solid understanding of business applications such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, etc. - Ability to manage & effectively complete assigned projects via exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills - Vertical industry knowledge which will add value to project scoping and the sales process - BS/BA equivalent required; advanced degrees are a plus - Requires extensive travel up to 80% of the time Best Regards, A.
