There was a time on this list when vendor sales reps sent such responses directly to the original enquirer so that the community as a whole did not lose bandwidth due to sales pitches, or at least added a tag to the subject line to differentiate sales pitches from testimonials, suggestions, etc., from actual EDI folk. There's a difference between you, for example, extolling the virtues of Specbuilder based on actual user experience (always welcome) or knowledge of the competitive landscape (often equally informative) and Grey posting his collateral to the list.
I don't fault Grey (or other vendor reps) for trying to get the word out and generate sales, but would greatly appreciate it if sales pitches were marked as such.
