Hi Tracy, It's been a few years, but in setting up a VMI relationship with DaimlerChrysler, we were asked to use the embedded release capability of the 830 (affectionately known as an 830E). In that case, we did use the 830 as a PO. It could be a discrete release or a release against a blanket PO (which could come via an 850). Use of the 830E was/is not unusual in high tech.

Maybe the best way to handle it is to map the document to an email or something, then send the email to the appropriate internal people??? Then they can enter the order as needed?
