Hello group, I was wondering if some of you had a good solution or
advice for me. I am working on a inbound 856. For the most part it
has been working with SOPI.
Every time I had a new P loop it will break and will begin to write
my info from here as my header portion of my file - then it will take
the I loop information and will write it as my detail info for my
file.
The problem that I have now is that I have a customer that it is
sending me info in this format too which I didnt know.

When I initially did my map I didnt include this in my map but now I
have too some how. I am using Gentran 3.2.2 - Now within the same
loop of the P group I trying to write my rules that if my Hl03 equal
a "P " to perfornm X rules then if the HL03 equal "T" to perform X
rules.
The only way that i was able to some how acomplish this was to
promote my HL Segmenet at the same level - So how I have two of them
for the HL Pack group.
them in each HL Segment under propertie in one I a key files to put
a "T" on the HL03 and then a "P" of the HL03 for the other Hl
Segment. I dont know why - but it was the only way that i could get
gentran to see what it is being pass in the HL03. {even though the
customer files has the right information here}.
below its an eaxmple of my X12 and what it is producing. If you see
the SN1 info it never get populated it on my output file ONLY the
second SN1 of the second T loop.
Any thoughs or help will be wonderfully welcome and let me thak you
all in advance.
