I resent the implication that all of us are heavy!
Assuming that any package would do complicated mapping, one thing I always have found missing, especially with Sterling products, is reporting. I, and my management, often wanted to be able to extract/report/graph transaction volumes, number of transactions by document & partner, last transaction for each doc/partner, etc., etc. Over the years, I figured out some ways to extract some of that data out into Access or Excel, and create much of the stuff that was requested but it was always a major pain in the BUT segment. For me, a reporting tool would be a great differentiator when shopping for a new translator. Hello everybody, I need your help to compile a list of the features/functions that EDI users would like to see in the ideal EDI software. I know all of you are heavy EDI users and always wish to have certain functionality in the software to make life easy or if you have come across with a good feature in the EDI software which is really useful. Please list those functionalities. I appreciate your help. Thanks. Savita. .
