Subject: [EDI-L] Gentran:Server translation

I am trying to translate an outbound flat/positional file (VDA forecast) in
Gentran:Server NT, however during translation the last record of the map is
getting chopped off. I have the record and all fields within this record
activated. I dropped the file into Ultraedit too look at the hex values.
All previous records end with a hex value of . 0A. However the last record
does not contain a . 0A hex value. It is blank and ends in a space hex
value 20.

Other issue: I have approx 40 date fields. The format is YYMMDD and I am
converting these to YYYYMMDD. However, there are a couple of the date
fields were the date is displayed as 000000. I receive a translation error
on these dates incorrect element format 000000 19691231. How can I set a
rule to ignore the 000000?

Thank you for the help!
Jeff
