Jim,

Commport has no contractual agreement in place with Walmart. We are
however, recognized as an EDI and communications solution provider.
Commport's EDI business model allows for Commport Customers to outsource
their EDI and communications to Commport from which point the Commport
Customer Care department assumes the responsibility for EDI and
communications related concerns.

Glen,
When you say: "Commport has been the contact for EDI as well as AS2 with
Walmart..." are you saying you are contracted by WalMart? What did you mean
by that exactly.

Jim

Greg,

That may have been the case 2 years ago when Walmart was first implementing
the AS2 protocol however my understanding is that they changed their way of
thinking once they found out how many of their vendors weren't running their
own by-sync connection as had been mandated in the past.

Commport has been setting up Walmart vendors since the AS2 rollout began.
In doing so Commport has been the contact for EDI as well as AS2 with
Walmart.

My understanding was (2 yrs ago when I set up Wal-Mart AS2 for my last
company) that Wal-Mart prohibited any third-party relationship like this.
That was my plan at the time, to outsource the AS2 to my VAN (Sterling).
Wal-Mart expressly forbid it, saying we needed to get our own solution up
and running. Again - should be none of their %$#@ business, but we're
talkin' about Wal-Mart here!
