This site is NOT using Biztalk. They are presently using GE's Desktop solution that simply exports the received EDI transactions into one mega file.
The problem that this customer is having is that they are now receiving transactions other than 850's and 810's and so their EDI interface module 'bombs' when they attempt to process a file that contains anything other than 810,850 or 997s. They are now receiving 824, 812, 830 and 864. So they want to go with an external translator than can not only map to their Navision files but produce various kinds of documents based on the transaction received an send it off to various people depending on the contents. That is why I want to implement Softshare's Delta Enterprise and ECS package. Delta can map to just about any format out there including XML and database. I just don't have the info as to how to go about 'talking' to Navision's files.
