EDIdEv (www.edidev.com) at one time had a good, basic power point on EDI that will give you a feel for it in less than an hour. EDI Partners (www.edipartners.com) has a good, two day crash course for health care pros: "Master HIPAA EDI Implementation Guides" which explains the structure of transaction sets, mapping and more.
